The silviculture sector offers a wide variety of services applicable on Crown lands and on private lands. We offer the following operations: pre-commercial thinning, plantation cleaning, slash disposal, scarification and plantation.

Pre-commercial thinning and plantation cleaning

Our qualified staff performs this type of operation since 2001. Our thinning team will offer you a secure and quality service while meeting deadlines. We are committed in maintaining a superior service quality by giving our employees the best training possible.

Four Best Management manages more than 30 thinners in Northwestern New Brunswick. This represents an annually treated area of approximately 1700 ha. We can also flag and measure your territory with a GPS unit. This will allow you to update the data in your GIS more easily.

Slash disposal and scarification

Since 2001, Four Best Management has been performing slash disposal operations. We can also execute the plantation operations on roadside slash disposal areas. Thanks to the partnership with many contractors, we now have the equipment to accomplish these tasks. You can be assured that the slash disposal areas will be planted according to high-quality standards.
